How to adjust the color of screen printing equipment

The so-called color matching is to use two or more colors, or a small number of colors in addition to the main color to be adjacent to form a combination of colors. When the color ink is used before the first use, the color to be prepared on the color sample is separately exposed, and the original (or the original) color is correctly identified as the primary color, the intermediate color, or the complex color. If it is a color or a complex color, you need to distinguish the ratio of the primary color to the secondary color.

Secondly, according to the hue of the original indication, the sample should be debugged. When the color difference is small or equal compared with the original, it can be adjusted in a large amount, and the time is short, and the adjustment should be appropriate. Too little adjustment, resulting in downtime, ink hue is different, affecting normal production; too much will cause unnecessary waste. Ink adjustment is usually done where the light is stable or where the light is not directly illuminated.

There are three points to note when tinting inks are tinted:

1. When adding ink, try to add less color inks. The less the color inks, the better the mixing effect.

2, using the "from shallow to deep" principle, regardless of the preparation of light or bright color ink, when the hue is close to the sample, be careful. Ink produced by different manufacturers, try not to mix and call, try to use the same manufacturer of different colors of ink for coloring, otherwise it will produce uneven color tone, in severe cases will appear condensation and ink scrap.

3. Some screen printing inks are dried by drying. After drying in light colors, they are lighter than undried, and darker after drying in dark colors. In addition, whether or not the color tone of the ink differs before and after drying at the time of printing is a problem that is easily overlooked. Generally speaking, through natural drying (solvent evaporation ink), the substrate is plastic, metal, paper, glass, etc., the color does not change; but if it is a ceramic color, it is colored after burning and oxidation. Can only be toned by experience. For silk screen printing inks that are dried by thermosetting and light solidification, the color varies in depth, as mentioned above. When the amount of ink is large, you can use the ink adjuster to complete the coloring in a short time.

The blending of light-colored inks is generally based on white ink, with appropriate color inks. Such as light blue, mainly white ink, slightly added blue (cyan); light red, mainly white ink, slightly increased red; gray, mainly white ink, slightly black; silver gray, mainly white ink, slightly Add silver paste and add a trace of black ink. To prepare a light-colored silk screen printing ink (printing material), it is necessary to add as little white ink as possible, because white ink is highly active, and it is easy to cause discoloration of other colors.

Workers need to adjust their inks to:

1. Understand the various specifications and performance of the ink; make the inks suitable for production needs.

2. master the basic knowledge of color science, use freely in the ink adjustment.

3. Analyze the color and process technology of printing, find out the color sequence of multiple sets of colors, so as to avoid the color sequence is wrong, the two colors are miscible, and the color changes.

4. Pay attention to the brightness of the ink color when adjusting the ink. It is required to use the original color as much as possible. Otherwise, the ink that is transferred will be “grey” and the original color brightness will be reduced.
