Screen printing ink and its characteristics

Screen printing ink is printed on the screen, the ink is relatively thick, it not only has self-drying ink, but also infrared light curing and UV curing ink, because the printed ink is thicker and the curing time is longer.

Printing features:

(1) The ink layer is thick. The color is bright, giving a very full feeling, strong stereo, suitable for large areas of the field, text and other patterns. Disadvantages: The ink consumption is large, about 3 times thicker than offset printing, the light curing speed is slow, the ink film shrinks more obviously, and it is easy to cause shrinkage of the disk, or even bending, which causes quality problems.

(2) Low precision. Limited by the screen printing process and raw materials, the screen printing image accuracy is 80-120 lines/inch, and the dot-tone reproduction range is generally 10%-85%, so the product has a delicate degree and layering.

(3) The printing pressure is small. Screen printing is soft and flexible, and the printing pressure is small, which has little influence on the content of the optical disc, and is beneficial for protecting the optical disc.
