Ink color

★ High-performance ink color management must ensure at least the following instruments and equipment: silk screen printing, Ningbo silk screen printing ink factory

1. Precision handprinting station and semi-automatic printing machine and oil pad printing machine;

2. High quality 300 mesh test plate version, normal depth steel plate or steel sheet;

3. Equipped with various degrees of scraping according to the shape of the product;

4. Balance suitable for weighing batches (electronic balance);

5. The latest version of the Pantone manual;

6. A sample stand capable of visually detecting a color sample;

7. Professional color light;

8. A viscometer that ensures ink performance;

9. Spectrophotometer.

During this operation, we first dispensed 100 grams of test ink for proofing. If the formula is correct, we will dispense more ink for printing on the machine. 100 grams of ink blending is equivalent to converting the percentage to grams: 1% = 1 gram. So, if the formula contains 50% transparent white ink, 25% warm red ink and 25% yellow ink. We will take 50 grams of transparent white ink, 25 grams of warm red ink and 25 grams of yellow ink. Due to the different color of ink manufacturers, it is not always feasible to add them according to the ratio. Therefore, we have to adjust accordingly (also because there are differences in the number of screens, the background color of the printed matter and the printing method).

1. Use the latest non-polluting inks. The ink should not be printed on the screen at first, because the ink is easily contaminated on the screen and during cleaning.

2. The mixing ink can be added in a small number of times, which can precisely control the mixing of 100 grams of ink.

3. The test ink should be used in a smaller container.

★ Steps for blending ink:

1. First determine the color formula. Note: Since the inks supplied by the ink supplier use different pigments, not all ink formulations in the Pantone Color Matching Guide are suitable for screen printing inks. Therefore, it is best to get the ink formulation from the ink supplier.

2. Determine what method, what equipment, and under what circumstances the customer will print.

3. Collect and confirm that the viscosity of the ink to be formulated is within the required range.

4. Add the corresponding ink according to the color system and make a weight record, then mix well.

5. First print on the paper by hand, wait for the color card to match, and confirm the color of the proof. If there is color difference, modify it again.

When the colors are similar, print, dry and compare the materials provided by the customer until they are correct.

6. Once the ink formulation is correct, convert the amount of ink to a percentage.

7. In order to confirm whether the new formula is correct, you can adjust the 100 g sample according to the previous ratio. Then at the same time hand-printing and machine printing, handprint, machine printing, color card three colors match, even if completed. If there is color difference, please re-check the data and make adjustments accordingly.

★ Note:

1. Make sure that the customer prints in that way (such as pad printing, screen printing, and screen printing should pay attention to clear the number of mesh, film thickness, etc.), the correct color can be adjusted for the correct printing method.

2. Determine how the customer is dry. (The color gradation is easy to cause due to temperature and color gradation)

3. Add pigments that do not contain resin (such as color paste, color masterbatch, toner, gold and silver) must master the ratio, otherwise it will affect the color fastness.

4. Any brand of ink has a specific gravity problem. Please be sure to stir the coloring ink before use. Pay attention to the viscosity change to reduce the separation phenomenon.
